Shadow Play

Our nursery children have been enjoying the Light Studio which has developed their interest in shadows and how to use their own shadow to make bridges.

During our time in the Light Studio, we have encouraged the children to explore and discover different surfaces, and observe how materials with different textures and densities interact with light. 

As we continue to develop this space within our nursery, the children will have the opportunity to further explore what influences our perception of various objects.
