Planting in the Garden
Our nursery children have been exploring the new area in the garden, planting and caring for our new plants. They have proudly taken ownership and responsibility, watering the plants daily.
Spending time in the garden is a great way for children to learn new skills including tending to plants and growing their own food. Most children enjoy being outdoors and love playing with the soil, getting dirty, creating things and watching plants grow. Our children are excited by all the new possibilities and have spoken about growing tomatoes, carrots, potatoes and herbs!
