World Book Day Celebrations
It is World Book Day on 4 March and at 1st Place, we’ve extended celebrations for the whole week at our nurseries and Children and Family Centre including:
A live puppet show of Owl Babies from the staff at Lorrimore Square.
Themed arts and crafts activities.
Projected theatre shows of the Kitchen Disco and a digital stream of The Gruffalo.
Parents/Carers and their children sharing their favourite stories and songs via Zoom.
A special storytime session in Burgess Park.
Children are welcome to come dressed up throughout the week - we cannot wait to see your costumes!
