Play up with the Blue Elephant Theatre!

Our friends at the Blue Elephant Theatre are encouraging children and their families to play up as part of a new series of drama workshops.

‘Playing up’ drama workshops are designed for children aged 1 - 3 years old and their parents/carers. They use drama, music, singing, movement and props to explore creative play at home.

The sessions will be held at Holy Trinity with St Matthew, Southwark, SE1 6RG and include the following:

  • Hide and Speak (7 September at 9.00 - 10.15am, 10.15 - 11.30am and 3.30 - 4.45pm) - Act, sing and dance whilst going on a journey through a forest.

  • Feelings Friend (10 September at 9.00 - 10.15am, 10.15 - 11.30am and 3.30 - 4.45pm) - Thinking about emotions and how they are expressed.

  • Listen and Dance (11 September at 9.00 - 10.15am, 10.15 - 11.30am and 3.30 - 4.45pm) - Using music and sound to inspire actions and movements.
