Introducing our new Community Family Worker

A warm welcome to Valentina Guidi, our new Community Family Worker. Valentina will mostly be based at 1st Place at Lorrimore Square but can also be found at at our other nurseries and at our children’s centres.

With a strong background in the Early Years field and a holistic knowledge of children’s development aged 0 to five years old, Valentina is a strong advocate for children. She is currently in her final year at university undertaking a Masters Degree in Sociology of Childhood and Children’s Rights.

On joining 1st Place, Valentina said, "I am thrilled to be part of 1st Place and am looking forward to working in partnership with our families. I love listening to children’s unique opinions and believe that there is always something to learn from them."
