Introducing Blossom

As part of our commitment to improving our communications with our parents, we are delighted to announce the launch of the Blossom Educational app across all 1st Place nurseries.Blossom is a secure online platform that will enable parents to be more involved in their child’s learning journey at 1st Place. Using this new app, we will be able to share the progress of children on a regular basis, keeping parents updated and informed.Through Blossom, we will be able to securely:• Record observations about a child and link them to the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework so that parents can track their child’s progress.• Create diary timelines of a child’s activities including photos so that parents know what their child is doing at nursery.Blossom will enable parents to:• Keep us updated through parent/carer profiles and information about their child such as their likes and dislikes.• Send in their own observations, notes and photos from home so that we can build on this learning at nursery.• See reports of their child and add their own comments.
