Warm Spaces

Find a warm, free and welcoming community space in Southwark to spend time, some locations offer cost of living advice, a free hot drink and food.

What are warm spaces?

Warm spaces are safe, welcoming places where people can spend time to stay warm, meet others, and access information and advice. They are often set up by community groups and voluntary organizations in places like church halls, libraries, and community centers

What warm spaces offer

As the cost of living and heating our homes increases, Southwark Council have worked with partners to open a network of warm spaces across the borough. In these spaces, you can keep warm or take part in an activity.

Are you struggling financially?

You can find support such as debt advice, how to access food banks and help with energy costs on the Southwark Council website.
