Southwark Libraries extend online activities for families
To keep families entertained during the summer, Southwark Libraries have extended their online activities:
For children aged 0-11 years old, there is a new summer programme.
Children aged 4-11 years old can join the Silly Squad Summer Reading Challenge which celebrates silliness with online activities, rewards and games as children discover new books to read.
For budding young writers aged 5 plus, there is the ‘The Longest Day’ writing competition. (The closing date for entries is 31 July 2020).
Older writers aged 11-17 years old can enter the ‘Future Stories: One day in 2070’ competition by writing a futuristic story. (The closing date for entries is 5 September 2020).
The Southwark eLibrary is also still available with free eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers, film streaming and more. If you have any questions about Southwark Libraries, please email: southwark.libraries@southwark.gov.uk
