SDCAS are seeking a new Chair of Trustees

Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers are seeking a new Chair, with charity board experience, to provide leadership to their board of trustees and oversee the strategic direction and development of the organisation, ensuring good governance and effective performance. 

The role requires working in partnership with the Director to help to achieve the Charity’s objectives, and to ensure there is an effective relationship between the Board, staff, volunteers, members and stakeholders. A commitment to the welfare of asylum seekers and refugees is essential.
