Juggling family life can feel overwhelming sometimes. Remember you are not alone. If you need support and advice or just someone to talk to there are services available in person, over the phone and online.  

Family Advice and Guidance 

1st Place Family Hub offers free confidential advice and support for you and your family over the phone. To book a slot, please call 1st Place reception on 020 7740 8070. (Telephone Service available Mon – Fri, 9.00am - 5.00pm). 

 

Healthy Minds Thrive

The Healthy Minds Thrive team provide support for parents and carers with children under 2 years old. You can drop in to a coffee morning, request 1-1 face-to-face support or telephone support.  

 

Going it alone 

If you are a single parent, it can be helpful to draw on your friends and family's support. Check out these websites that offer information, advice and friendship.

Meet other parents and carers 

Socialising with other parents and carers and their children can help increase parents' confidence and have a positive impact on wellbeing of both you and your child.

Play Sessions and Suport Groups

1st Place Family Hub and Victory Family Hub hold play sessions and support groups every week. It’s a great way to socialise and access suppport and advice.

Sessions include: Early Words Together (supporting early language and literacy), SENsational (for children with additional needs), Under Five Hearing Support Group (for children who are deaf or hard of hearing), Breastfeeding Support and more.
