Could your family have free fruit and veg?

The Alexandra Rose Charity’s Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg Project helps families to access fresh fruit and vegetables locally in partnership with East Street Market.

Families can receive vouchers to buy fruit and vegetables from specific stalls in East Street Market. Families are given 6 vouchers for every child under 1, and 3 vouchers for each child over 1. Vouchers are also available for siblings up to the age of 11 who have not yet started secondary school.

Families qualify if they:

  • Have a child under 5 who has not yet started in Reception or are least 10 weeks pregnant.

  • Are in receipt of benefits and / or working and earning less than £16,000 a year.

  • Have no recourse to public funds.

  • Live in the Faraday, North Walworth or Camberwell Green Wards, or attend 1st Place Children and Parents’ Centre regularly.

To register with the Rose Vouchers Project, you can come to one of our registration sessions at 1st Place Children and Parents' Centre.
