Impact Report 2019-2020

We are proud to launch our Impact Report 2019-2020. Over the past year, ensuring that families are aware of the breadth of our services and the different ways that we can support them has been an important focus. Successful collaboration and partnership working has been key in not only helping us to support existing families but to also further extend our reach and improve our understanding of how best to deliver our services.

We have also sought to bring our families, partners and the wider community together through events such as the stunning ‘Image of the Child’ exhibition and the heart warming ‘We Are 1st Place’ get together. The aim has been to highlight the work that we do but to also establish a genuine sense of community spirit and togetherness. With COVID-19, this has never been more important.

Reflecting on 2019-2020, Nicki Howard (Director of 1st Place), said: “We have shown resilience, compassion and determination. We have shown that we truly are a family, that We Are 1st Place.”
