Our Recruitment Open Day is aimed for those school and college leavers and those looking to start a new career in Early Years.

Find out how you can study while you earn at 1st Place, with a starting wage of £9.64 per hour, once qualified as a level 3 you can earn approximately £12.50 per hour and will have the opportunity to further study and progress your career.

You can study from level 2 all the way to level 5 which is equivalent to a 2nd year of a Bachelor's degree.

Our full-time vacancies are 36 hours per week and no working on weekends or Bank Holidays.

Where can an Early Years Career take me?

As an experienced nursery worker you could specialise in working with children who have difficulties with learning, physical disabilities, or need support with their mental health.

A Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or an early years lead practitioner higher apprenticeship would allow you to move on to room leader. You could then study towards a higher education qualification in early years or child development which could open opportunities for management or early years teaching.

Starting a career in early education could also lead to a career in Family Support, Teaching in higher education, Play therapy and more.
