Building with eco bricks

At 1st Place, we are working hard to try and reduce the amount of plastic that is wasted. At our nursery at 1st Place at Lorrimore Square, we are proud to say that our children are going one step further by creating eco bricks. Our eco-warriors are making eco bricks (a plastic bottle stuffed with non-biological waste, which creates a reusable building block) to build stalls and furniture that can be used around the nursery. We cannot wait to see the results!

We would love for our parents/carers to get involved. If you would like to donate your plastic bottles or even make eco bricks at home, please feel free to do so. You will be surprised at how much waste you really have!
