Getting the most out of Blossom

With Blossom now in full use across all of our nurseries, below is a little reminder about using the app as a nursery parent. If you have any questions or issues, please do get in touch with your nursery.

What you can expect:

• Daily feedback on your child’s day including their activities, food, sleep and nappy changes.

• At least one picture every week showing your child participating in an activity.

• Daily pictures of group activities taking place at nursery (please note that these may not always feature your child).

• At least twice a month, observations and images documenting your child’s overall development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. To view these, simply click on the ‘Learning Journey’ button in the app.

Your observations

• Please do send your own observations from home! They show us what your child enjoys doing, highlight links between pursuits at home and at nursery, and enable us to plan nursery activities in line with your child’s interests.

• Only upload 2-3 images at a time. Unfortunately, having too many images can often prevent your observation from loading properly.

• When we have received and approved your observations, they will change to a ‘Golden Moment’ in your child’s observations.
