Thing of the Week - Making Connections

As part of the launch of 50 Things in Southwark, we are focusing on 1 of the 50 activities in this amazing app. Next is ‘Making Connections’.

From putting together jigsaw pieces or slotting train tracks together, children are fascinated by connections. Although fastening things together is a real technical and challenging skill, it is something that children of all ages can develop through everyday play. Why not try experimenting with large magnets, jigsaws, paper and glue, or even Duplo?
