Bespoke Training
At 1st Place we welcome the opportunity to share our learning and vision with visitors and tours and visits can be arranged on request. We also have specific expertise within 1st Place on the following areas and are happy to arrange bespoke training according to your needs such as Environmental Awareness, The Reggio Emilia Approach, Good practice in Early Education, Child Development, Healthy Eating and Involving Parents.
Room Hire
A beautiful centre located in Burgess Park, 1ST Place is the ideal venue for your training, conferences or workshop needs. As well as attractive multi-purpose spaces, we have quality equipment, catering and creche facilities available to ensure that every part of your session goes smoothly. We have a warm and friendly reception and an on-site Premises officer.
We can provide OHP, Multimedia Projector, Flipchart and accessories, TV/VCR/DVD. Any other requirements can be discussed on an individual basis. There is free parking & Disabled Parking available in Burgess Park. Note: These capacities are for a guideline only, depending on what equipment and furniture is used.
How to book a space
Telephone to check availability. A provisional booking will be held for 1 week until a booking form is received to confirm the booking. Cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to the booking date, will incur a 30% cancellation fee. On the day cancellations or now shows will be charges 100%. We may ask for a deposit for large bookings

As a registered charity 1st Place relies on generating income from these and other activities in order to survive. We hope you will support us by considering 1st Place when planning activities and looking for venues.
