Welcome to 1st Place

Thank you for showing an interest in 1st Place, 1st Place was designed by local parents with the needs of local children and their families in mind. 1st Place aims to offer the full range of services and activities to ensure that parents and children have a healthy and happy experience of childhood and parenting and that both adults and children have every opportunity to explore and develop their potential.

As well as providing innovative high quality learning experiences for young children, 1st Place also has a large staff team dedicated to improving opportunities for parents through training, volunteering and employment. Some of our services are provided within our beautiful purpose built centre, located in Burgess Park, and from Cambridge House, whilst others operate from other local bases including the Aylesbury Health Centre.

1st Place is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status. As an organisation we nurture a community culture which is inclusive, embraces diversity and models respect for young children and families as well as care for the environment. In this way 1st Place hopes to support the regeneration of the local community and contribute to the long-term social and economic stability of the area.
